A 40ft new refrigerated shipping container is a factory-new high-cube cold-storage unit with approximately 2,350 cubic feet of insulated capacity. The additional interior height provides more usable space for palletized or bulky temperature-sensitive cargo. The unit uses commercial three-phase refrigeration with an aluminum T-bar floor for under-cargo airflow and sealed cargo doors for temperature retention. Thermo King, Carrier, or Daikin machinery may be supplied, and the machinery selection determines the exact operating range.
